Amazon Handmade
Amazon may have started as an online retailer but its business has grown to include more than just books and textbooks. Amazon is a global company that offers tech resources via Amazon Web Services and supermarkets that have food, as well as other services. Fairly, the world’s biggest marketplace doesn’t want to lose out potential lucrative sales revenue from artisan sellers. Amazon launched Handmade in 2015 to allow artisans to sell on its website.
Handmade is not yet available on all Amazon outlets, but it can be found at Amazon.co.uk. Amazon.de. Amazon.fr. You can list your handmade products in Europe on Amazon.es. Handmade is available in North America on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.mx.
Handmade currently assists dealers in selling the following products:
Jewellery & Watches for House, Outdoor & Home Maintenance. Kitchen & Cooking. Pet Equipment. Stationery & Party Supplies. Toys & Games. Furniture. Artwork. Baby Goods. Makeup & Personal Care. Clothes. Shoes & Luggage.
To apply for Amazon Handmade, you will need to meet certain requirements:
Either you are an artisan working alone or with less than 20 other artisans in a group. You can still apply if you are part of a cooperative, non-profit, non-governmental entity or social enterprise. Other types of artisans may be considered, but each case is treated individually.
Products that aren’t in these categories, such as automated or downloaded products and food & grocery items, cannot be sold on handmade goods. If you want to trade in these categories, you can sell on Amazon. However, it is not possible to sell in the handmade market at the moment.
But homemade isn’t always the best choice for Etsy sellers as it is for Amazon sellers. Amazon customers are visiting the site because they want to find affordable goods, fast shipping (often the same day), as well as access to more products than ever before. Amazon’s sale of artisan brands at a lower price raises questions.
You cannot connect to your Amazon website if you sell products. Also, you can’t use advertising materials to consumers orders (so you can’t promote your website there). And you can’t use any email addresses to reach customers outside of Amazon. Amazon is the owner of your client. They can’t access any information about you.
Amazon Handmade is not cheap. You can create a handmade shop and then list your products. Amazon charges a 12 percent referral fee for each deal you make. If you are a daily Amazon seller and your products qualify for Handmade, then it’s worth switching to Handmade. The monthly PS 25 Skilled Selling plan fee is not charged for your products.
Let’s say you are curious about whether Amazon Handmade Dropship products should be made. Amazon strictly controls who can sell on Handmade. They also know who DropShipping customers are. This means that you would spend your time selling DropShipped products even though they are handmade by someone else.

It takes only five minutes to create an Aftcra shop. There are six steps: check your PayPal account and become a seller. Then, enter your store information and upload your items.
Aftcra is not the right place to search for vendors looking for new markets for DropShip products. It is similar to Etsy in that it clearly states in Aftcra’s seller rules that “reselling products that were not created by the shop owner” is prohibited. You could lose your Aftcra shop if you’re found to be DropShipping or reselling. It pays the same thing.

You can also upload up to ten photos to each listing. A 6 percent commission will be charged. This means that you won’t have to pay any premium fees per piece. If you are making a lot of sales, this is a cost-effective way to go.
Folksy is different from other mass-market marketplaces in that they don’t keep track if you make a profit. You can quickly use the money to expand your business by transferring all the money you order directly into your Stripe or PayPal account.
“Folksy doesn’t support DropShipping in the market-the terms & conditions state that you must have manufactured the product you are selling (except if it is a commercial supply of art supplies). Folksy DropShip is not worth the effort unless you are willing to lose your time and effort on just a few sales.
